Graphics Dude - Well Done!!!

Howards Hughes a highly motivated and an aspiring visionary in the aviation industry. He saw the future and he made the future with his metal birds - A true Aviator. The movie is a quick glimpse of his life. Although the movie is long but, certainly a worthwhile. Di Caprio is the usual self as he always is - in his outrageous spree of passion and women.

Mighty Heart – A slow but tragic story of Daniel Pearl told by love of his life – Miriam to their son, Adam. I had closely followed this event in 2002. Although it’s been 7 years and my life has changed enormously, this story is still tragic and horrifying. The movie as a whole is the true depiction but very slow paced. The repeated scenes of the crowded places in Karachi markets, sometimes does become annoying. Angelina Jolie has done a tremendous job, and really worth applauding.

The Covenant – The worst movie among the 3. Well, this movie should never be watched in the night. Not because it has scary scenes but the movie is a slow paced disaster, which could have been much better if there had been more matter to show to the audiences. The matter in the movie was good but was completely out-stretched like rubber. But there are a few scenes with Graphics, really well done.  Ford Mustang shattering into pieces and coming back together after ramming into a trailer truck. I must say awesome to the Graphics Team in the movie.

Lets Talk about Sex..

Hope Springs.. The second movie I have seen where Colin Firths lady commits adultery. Based on New Cardiff by Charles Webb, hope springs makes fall into the country side beauty, and GG (Gorgeous heather Graham). Colin’s wife ditches him n he travels half way around the world from England to Hope, a small town near Vermont. Colin devastated cos of getting dumped, decides to sink himself in art. N there he meets the Gorgeous Graham! And then things get messy when his fiancĂ©, love of his life comes back. This movie says that Americans move on with their lives and English keep thinking things over. Graham has the most beautiful eyes … (love-struck)!!!

Sweet home at Alabama.. Reese Witherspoon, a white trash blonde leaves her past, family, husband, friends, home and moves to New York. Where she becomes a successful designer and falls in love with Prince Charming, probable Presidential candidate - Patrick Dempsey.  Reese is smart and sassy, and when she visits the country side after 7 years, she realizes that she was happy here. Another country side story, which is stretched to complete.

Kinsey – lets talk about sex.. .the real life story of Alfred Kinsey. The man who told the world about the sex life that people followed in America. As a young boy, he heard his dad being a passionate anti-sex maniac. He went on to study biology against his father’s will, and was never accepted by him. He went on to become a researcher. His belief in statistics n facts to support any study, attracted his lady love. He studied the behavior of wasps for about 20 years. At University of Indiana, he was astonished by the very weird sex education given to the students. He reformed the way the class was being held, he provided the theoretical explanation of the actual sex.  But most of the facts provided by Kinsey to his students was based on his experience and was never supported by any study. He devoted  another 20 years, providing a bestseller on male sex behavior. The movie takes care of every detail of his life, but becomes a bit dry n placid somewhere in the middle. So any Kinsey fans would enjoy it completely. The rest could afford to get some coffee n chit chat with their partner … !

One Grande ... Coffee

The blazes of sun rays undivided come across the aisle of light and hope. Ahh big big words coming out of my mouth.. .seems like this spring is gonna take some hit. After thinking about this world, all hatred, killings and greed. We do always say Life is Beautiful and God is Great! If we don’t then the feeling of helplessness would one day kill the human race. There are the ifs and butts, but it’s a fact – we be happy to feel better. There are moments when we do understand the importance of friendship, work, relations and most importantly God. And it’s good to think that way, so that we could leave few things to him.

Are you going to plan something about these vacations? God will ..

Are you going to do something about the neughbour of ours? God will..

Are you going to do something about getting food? God will ..

Are you going to give me a child? God will … Now if every guy says that, aint God one hell of a lucky guy. There we are … I have done it! … Relation between hell and god!

Now there is another point that leaves us in a dicey situation. Why is God always a he … why not a she?

(I have half a cup of coffee left … pls bare with me …pls)

Today is certainly springs best evening … it has cool breeze with the sun’s heat and banners of spring fest all around. Speaking of festivities, now I realize the importance of so many festivities we have in our culture. It gives us a reason to be happy. There are so many days like where we have a reason to be happy…

Happy Bday!

Happy Anniversary!

Happy Independence Day!

Well ma coffee is over, I hope you have a good day! Tc! N god bless…

There is pain all around…

Pain of waking up after an hours sleep,

Pain you desire to keep.

Pain of being away from your loved ones,

Pain of being calm; when the adrenaline rushes.

Pain of flirting 3 girls at a time,

Pain of being caught in between them..

Pain of not being appreciated

Pain of complexes

Pain of the squeaking noise

Pain of the wood on your head

Pain of your ankle being twisted.

Pain of accepting the truth,

Pain of loving them both.

Pain of terrorism

Pain of losing money

Pain of feeling dejected,

Pain of being rejected.

But the sweetest pain is that when you overcome all other pain …

N you keep smiling n your tears keep falling….

Its so true ...

If there was no pain in something, that something would be no gain … NO PAIN NO GAIN!!!

Manchurian Candidate… Disastrous!

Last weekend I had bought 3 DVDs from my library - Jarhead, Lucky You and Manchurian Candidate.

Jarhead is a story of a soldier where he fights a war in the deserts of Saudi, with himself. A 20 Yr old boy who loves doing homework with his girl lands up in a marine academy. The boy is moulded into a man and sent to war against the Iraqis. They suffer, train in the deserts, suffer even more, play football in 115o sand, train harder … celebrate and come back as war heroes. It might be fact with some of the soldiers, but the movie loses interest somewhere in the desert. Even traces of any oasis were difficult to find.

Lucky You is a story of a gambler, very well known in Vegas due to his father’s fame, and his expertise with women. This story curves smoothly with a girl coming into his life and making him a much better person. And most importantly making him respect his dad, a 2 time world poker champion. If you are not doing much on a weekend, you could spend 2 hours on this movie. Drew Barrymore is gorgeous as always!! J

I was expecting so much out of a Denzel Washington and Meryll Streep movie. The storyline is good, but the execution was pathetic. The movie was supposed to be a fast paced, intriguing and passionate depiction of Richard Condon novel. This 45 year old movie revolves around Sergeant Shaw who is manipulated by his mother. She uses Manchurian Global’s invention, implants some bio genetic chip in people’s brains to control their behavior and actions. Denzel and Meryll do show their class in few enigmatic scenes but I found the movie to be a BORE!

Next movie views and de-views on ... Sweet Home at Alabama, Hope Springs and Kinsey.
